ABOUT ME

Something about me

My name is Mar Corral, born in 1975 in La Coruña (Spain).

I have attended to an Arts and Crafts course in Dublin (Ireland), where I´ve learned glass , metal , jewellery , pottery and painting work skills.

"Acantilado Esmeralda" ("Emerald Cliff") is the artistic name that I use, has a very evocative meaning for me, a fantastic place, full of mystery, vitality, energy, color and passions. It is that place where are living all the figures I am creating.

Since a child I always liked to prepare scenarios, drawing them, building them, writing stories, make costumes, creating characters.

In 2013 I started to make OOAKS (one of a kind art dolls) impresed by the work of some artist in this field and encouraged by my sister Sonia Mª Corral illustrator.

I encourage you to accompany me on this journey of fantasy.
